This week Cornwall Trade and Investment, in collaboration with Celtic Sea Power and the Department for International Trade, are leading a trade delegation to Wind Energy Hamburg 27-30 September.
Wind Energy is a leading event focused on global on and offshore wind, bringing together major players across the wind industry and associated sectors.
This event not only provides a great opportunity for Cornwall-based Celtic Sea Power to highlight the advances being made in the region regarding floating offshore wind, it also provides 7 Cornish businesses with an invaluable opportunity to showcase their marine and renewable energy technologies to an international audience, meet potential customers, and network with peers.
“Floating offshore wind (FLOW) is one of the world’s fastest-growing renewable energy sectors, and ambitions for the Celtic Sea, coupled with ‘Scotwind’, will make the UK the biggest FLOW market. Wind Energy Hamburg provides the perfect opportunity to highlight its significance on a world platform, as well as meet potential partners, collaborators and the wider supply chain”
Matt Hodson, Chief Operating Officer at Celtic Sea Power
Delegates from Cornwall include Solis Marine, Submarine Technology Ltd, Nerth Ltd, Tug Dock, Reflex Marine, the Isles of Scilly Steamship Group and Morek. They will have the chance to meet Germany’s leading Wind Energy Trade Associations, including developers, and potential collaborators & customers.
